Description
“Arbeit Macht Frei” – the infamous text everyone knows. It translates to “Work Makes (You) Free” and it has become a symbol of the Nazi regime in a way. It’s placed on the gate of the Auschwitz extermination camp, now a museum. Most things got left exactly as they were when the camp was operating, including this place.
